Cousins and Pals
Chisoku has truly become our home away from home. After our various activities, I’ve grown to love taking refuge in her cozy confines to recharge and unwind. It’s nice having everything we need inside and to feel like the dogs are comfortable in there whenever we have to leave them for a while. As we…

Red Hot Rocks
To be honest, We would not normally choose to go to Denver in July – due to the heat. But the Avett Brothers were playing at Red Rocks then. So, we planned our trip around being there for the July 10 show, where Regina Spektor was the opener. We knew it would be hot after…

Kansas – A Photo Montage
We took Chisoku to McDonald, Kansas for five days. This is a town of less than 200 people and also where my mother-in-law lives. A place of big skies and wheat fields and grain elevators. It was very peaceful and quiet. Craig describes the Main Street as being like the set of an old western…

Toys and Trains and Trailers

The nervousness was mostly on my part. The rolling of the…

She’s so cool
Her name means “enough,” but right now, she feels like a whole lotta extra. She is our 28-foot Flying Cloud Airstream trailer, which we’ve named Chisoku. As far as we understand it, her name actually means “this is enough” in Japanese. It’s sort of a call to be happy with what you have. And we…

Traveling Companions
Our two Boston Terrier pups, Lizzie & Dottie, are traveling with us. They are excellent traveling companions, and they love the coziness of Chisoku. They love to snuggle in her twin beds while we hang out in the dining area or outside under the awning. They travel well in the truck also.
